Gabe Newell Buys $70 Million Florida Mansion

Gabe Newell has purchased a $70 million mansion in Florida. The 20,000 square foot house is described as modestly appointed despite its size.

The property includes an outdoor pool, a wellness wing, a wine cellar, a dock with a boat lift, and a tunnel that connects the house to the ocean.

The acquisition follows Newell’s purchase last year of the Leviathan, a $500 million megayacht. The new home comes as many Americans face higher prices at the gas pump and the grocery store, and some of the company’s products, such as the Steam Deck, have seen price increases while criticism of the platform’s forums persists.
