There was a time when you had to attend events in person; I once endured a sweltering stretch in Los Angeles, spending about $6,000 on Ubers and living off Famous Amos cookies from the hotel vending machine.

The Future Games Show Summer Showcase will air from LA on June 6 at 12 noon PT / 3 pm ET / 8 pm BST, featuring more than 40 upcoming games and 10 world premieres. It will be presented by Alex Wilton Regan (Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Age) and Troy Baker (Indiana Jones, The Last of Us, Persona 4's Kanji Tatsumi).

Several titles have been pre-revealed, including Halloween: The Game, Wardogs, Aniimo, Don't Fret, The Pines, Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, and The Lift, which the writer has checked out and enjoyed. The show will also include gameplay from Exodus, the sci‑fi RPG being made by a group of former Mass Effect developers.

You can watch the showcase on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok on June 6 at 12 noon PT / 3 pm ET / 8 pm BST.
