Nvidia unveiled RTX Spark, a new Arm-based CPU for consumer laptops that will appear in machines from HP, Lenovo, Acer, Asus, Microsoft, MSI and Dell, with some models arriving as early as this fall. The company, in partnership with Microsoft, framed the chip as a reinvention of the PC for the age of AI agents and said agentic features will be accessible directly from the Windows taskbar.

Onstage at Computex, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said, "We've worked with Microsoft for two and a half years: reinventing the PC and reinventing Windows. We're reinventing the PC." RTX Spark is billed to deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI performance, full-stack graphics and up to 128GB of unified memory.

Nvidia calls it "the most efficient PC chip ever built," but detailed performance metrics, hardware specs and pricing remain thin. With tandem OLED or premium displays and high-end builds, the new machines are expected to sit in "high-end creator machine" territory, well over the $2,000 mark.
