Polygon reports Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi's sci-fi drama For All Mankind released a new teaser trailer and will debut its fifth season on March 27 on Apple TV.

Set in an alternate history where the global space race never ended, the show picks up after last season's Goldilocks asteroid heist. The Mars colony Happy Valley has expanded with thousands of residents and a new base, but Earth is now demanding far more law and order and tensions between Mars and Earth are reaching a boiling point. The teaser offers glimpses — including motorcycle shreds on the red planet — and an ominous voiceover that says everything in the previous seasons has led to this point, and it looks as though the series is gearing up for another ambitious chapter.

Returning season regulars Joel Kinnaman as Ed Baldwin, Toby Kebbell as Miles Dales, Edi Gathegi as Dev Ayesa, Cynthy Wu as Kelly Baldwin, Coral Peña as Aleida Rosales and Wrenn Schmidt as Margo Madison will be joined by Mirelle Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz and Ines Asserson. The teaser didn't reveal all that much beyond those moments, and all previous seasons (1-4) are available to stream on Apple TV.
