Folarin Balogun is expected to seek a move away from Monaco during the summer transfer window as internal contract negotiations stall and interest from England mounts. The Arsenal academy graduate joined Monaco in 2023 after a prolific loan at Reims and has since scored 31 goals in 91 appearances for the club.

He has translated that form to the international stage, netting 11 times in 29 caps and now spearheading the United States attack at the 2026 World Cup. Premier League clubs have opened exploratory talks, with Serie A also showing strong interest. Monaco are holding out for a €50m package, which would secure a €20m profit on their original investment.

Balogun’s World Cup performances, including a double against Paraguay that made him the first American male to score twice in a World Cup match since 1930, have further raised his value.
