Five standout trailers from Summer Game Fest 2026

Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest 2026 filled two hours with trailers; five in particular stood out as must watches. Resident Evil Veronica opened the show. Not a total surprise after the rumours, the trailer teases its reveal well — the identity of the woman in the French apartment remains unclear — and the game is due in Spring 2027.

Gen Atlas marks the return of Fumito Ueda after a decade. The trailer pairs a giant robot with a striking score and several emotional moments, offering a strong glimpse of Ueda’s next project. The Blood of Dawnwalker footage worked as two trailers in one: a modern-day look billed as the Dawnwalker Saga, and a separate preview of Blood of the Dawnwalker, which arrives in September.

Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, effectively the second Stellar Blade, also debuted; set in the same universe, it contrasts the first game with a cyberpunk city and a new protagonist.
