Dateline's new six-episode podcast Five Miles from Home investigates the disappearance of 16-year-old Micaela "Mickie" Costanzo. Longtime correspondent Keith Morrison narrates, saying of her walk home, "It seemed perfectly safe...until it wasn't," and teasing the "confessions, cover-ups, and lies" that follow.

Costanzo went missing while walking home from track practice in West Wendover, Nevada, in 2001. The series illuminates what happened that night and what the police investigation uncovered, and introduces people in her circle, including childhood friend Kody Patten and Patten’s fiancée, Toni Fratto.

The first two episodes were released Monday, June 8: Episode 1, "Mickie," and Episode 2, "She's the Only One Missing." Episode 3 was released Monday, June 15; Episode 4 on Wednesday, June 17; Episode 5 on Monday, June 22; and Episode 6 on Wednesday, June 24.
