Batman’s future in movies and television has been uncertain despite several projects in development. While DC Studios advances The Brave and the Bold and Matt Reeves works early on The Batman — Part II with Robert Pattinson, the character is also returning to animation.

Warner Bros. released the first trailer for a new animated saga titled Batman: Knightfall Trilogy. The footage sets up Batman and Robin against foes such as Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow before focusing on Bane, who intends to break the Caped Crusader and unleash chaos across Gotham City.

The voice cast includes Anson Mount as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Michael Mando as Bane and David Dastmalchian as the Riddler. The film will also feature other classic characters, including Tim Drake, Nightwing and Jean-Paul Valley. The trailer does not confirm whether the three films will be released together or separately, though Batman: Knightfall Part 1 will be released later in 2026.
