Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will close out the remake trilogy and is slated to arrive on PC in spring 2027. Square Enix unveiled the game as the final major reveal at the Summer Game Fest live show.

Director Naoki Hamaguchi appeared alongside Geoff Keighley to show two trailers filled with familiar FF7 imagery, including the Highwind, the Weapons, and combat footage of Vincent and Cid. Hamaguchi later invited Matt Mercer, the voice of Vincent Valentine, for a longer gameplay presentation that kept the real-time tactical hybrid combat of the earlier remakes while adding new playable party members.

The reveal highlighted several features: flying the Highwind and parachuting to destinations, brief looks at Wutai and Mideel, playable Vincent and Cid, a new FITS system for outfits and movesets, and confrontations with the series’ Weapons. Square Enix has not given a specific date, but confirmed the game will launch in spring 2027 on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
