Final Fantasy 7 Revelation closes remake trilogy in spring 2027

The highlight of this year's Summer Game Fest was the reveal of the third and final part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy: Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, due in spring 2027. A precise release date has not been shared.

Square Enix has revealed the game will launch simultaneously on all platforms, arriving day one on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

The threequel brings back the core cast from Remake and Rebirth, adds Vincent Valentine, and appears as action-packed and visually impressive as its predecessors.
