Playing Final Fantasy 11 after so many years feels like returning to a desolate hometown: the landmarks remain but the people and the sense of belonging have shifted. The game itself moves at a measured pace. Setup and simple tasks take time and the control scheme can feel clumsy, but the job system remains a standout feature: you can switch jobs on the fly, unlock 22 distinct roles and combine primary and secondary jobs to create deep, flexible builds.
