Stockholm-based startup Fika Jobs announced a $4 million pre-seed round to build a video-first hiring platform that pairs AI interview agents with short-form video profiles. Candidates complete AI-powered interviews to showcase personality and communication skills rather than relying solely on resumes.

The funding will be used to develop the platform, grow the team and prepare for a wider launch later this year. Job seekers start by connecting a LinkedIn profile; Fika’s AI reviews their background and generates personalized interview questions. Candidates then complete a roughly 10-minute video interview with an AI agent powered by Google’s Gemini models.

The platform automatically turns responses into short clips and organizes them into a live profile employers can discover and revisit. Co-founders and brothers Jakob and Alexander Dubois conceived the idea while building their previous startup Gaff.
