Fans use Microsoft Rewards to pre-order GTA 6 Ultimate Edition for free
With GTA 6 priced at an $80 baseline and the expanded Ultimate Edition set at $100, some Xbox players have been using Microsoft Rewards points to pre-order the deluxe version instead of paying cash. One Reddit user, CarolinaKing704, said they pre-ordered five months early after stockpiling points and had been waiting almost three years.
The Ultimate Edition costs 100,000 points, and another user, HugoWheynow, shared a screenshot thanking Rockstar for the delays that gave them extra months to save. Other commenters cautioned people to use only points for payment rather than splitting methods, since Microsoft charges immediately when you use Microsoft funds to pre-order and mixing payment types can lead to a repeat charge at launch.
Microsoft Rewards awards points for purchases and for Bing activity through a range of tasks, including prompts to search on Bing, download the Bing app, or pin the rewards program for a small bonus.
