Fans terrified by Other Mommy trailer shown before The Odyssey

Audiences who saw The Odyssey in theaters this weekend were met with a chilling first trailer for Other Mommy, a new Blumhouse horror starring Jessica Chastain. Horror fans are already raving about the terrifying first look. Directed by Rob Savage (Host, The Boogeyman), the film follows 8-year-old Bela, whose parents are going through marital difficulties when a sinister doppelgänger she dubs 'other mommy' emerges from her closet and terrorizes the family.

Reaction online ran the gamut. "My biggest takeaway from The Odyssey isn't anything about The Odyssey itself. It's the horror movie trailer that they showed right before for 'Other Mommy' that won't allow me to sleep for the foreseeable future," wrote @BarstoolHubbs.
