Kingdom Come: Deliverance prides itself on historical realism, but the first game's timeline raised questions. In the epilogue Hans Capon asks Henry how long they've known each other, suggesting it's only been a couple of weeks since Henry arrived in Skalitz. That implies Henry's transformation from an inexperienced refugee to an accomplished swordsman happened in roughly 14 days.

One Twitter user, Paul, set out to map the canonical timeline. He produced a calendar of events, timing each quest by the in-game clock and adding measures for side quests, travel and daily activities. Paul also factors in about two weeks Henry would likely have spent bedridden with combat injuries and fever after escaping Skalitz.

With those adjustments the timeline stretches to just over two months, a far more plausible span than two weeks. Paul admits the results are "incredibly subjective," noting that individual playthroughs and the game's world-time counter — which can skip forward by entire days and omit long recovery periods — affect the totals.
