Faizon Love said he could not afford $250,000 child support before arrest
Faizon Love said in court documents earlier this year that he could not come up with the $250,000 he allegedly owes a woman named Tiffany Lee. He asserted he had not earned a cent in the previous 12 months and that his highest annual income over the last five years was $13,000.
He also defended missing an April hearing, saying he suffered a medical emergency at the time. After being ordered to turn himself in for 90 days behind bars, he was arrested Tuesday night in Hillsborough County and is being held without bond at Orient Road Jail in Tampa.
He lives in Glendale, California, and his mug shot shows him stone-faced in an orange jumpsuit. He was charged with two counts of contempt of court. The arrest was not his first legal trouble: in February 2025 he was accused of felony assault over an alleged August 2024 hotel incident in which a clerk said he slammed a credit card machine into her head and broke her glasses.
