Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 took the gaming world by storm when it was released in April 2025, selling over 8 million copies and winning hundreds of awards. Story Kitchen announced a film adaptation in January 2025, but there have been no further updates. Rich Keeble, the voice of the feet-obsessed gestral warrior Monoco, says he has not been in talks about reprising the role and would love to play Monoco.

Keeble said, "I don't know anything about how that film is going on," but added he would happily record Monoco’s voice from his London studio — joking that he wouldn't need visas or to travel. "I'll do it here," he said. "I'll do it in my booth right now." He also hoped any performance would not be done by AI.

Monoco has become a fan-favorite for the comedic levity he brings to an otherwise dour journey, a product of both the game's writing and Keeble’s comic delivery.
