Everything We Saw At Summer Game Fest 2026
It’s June and that means Geoff Keighley’s world-premiere-palooza, Summer Game Fest, returned with a steady stream of trailers and reveals. If you missed the live show, the event highlighted a wide range of projects across big-budget sequels, indie experiments, and console showcases.
Major reveals included a remake titled Resident Evil Veronica, which appears to use the series’ recent first-person perspective and is due on Steam, PS5, PC, and Switch 2 in 2027. Studio MDHR announced a new hand-drawn Cuphead and a separate 8-bit platformer called Mighty Cuphead Adventure.
Sega showed Alien: Isolation 2 set on a colony world, and Famito Ueda’s genAtlas arrived with a more action-packed tone for Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. NetEase’s 24 Entertainment previewed Blood Message, an action game set in 848 AD about a father caring for his son, while RGG Studio offered a Stranger Than Heaven prequel featuring an unexpected Tupac appearance and a January 15 release date.
