Every New Movie and TV Show Coming to HBO Max in June 2026

HBO Max begins June with one of the season’s most anticipated returns: the third season of House of the Dragon. The service is also adding a broad slate of originals and films, from pitch-black comedies to slow-burn horror, alongside a selection of classic titles moving to streaming.

House of the Dragon’s third season opens the month’s slate on June 21, with the Targaryen civil war intensifying as Rhaenyra appears poised for victory and Aegon II flees the capital; the first episode premieres June 21 and new episodes follow weekly. On the film side, How to Make a Killing, a darkly comic thriller starring Glen Powell, Margaret Qualley, and Ed Harris, arrives June 19.

A24’s Pillion, adapted from Adam Mars-Jones’ Box Hill and starring Harry Melling and Alexander Skarsgård, lands June 5, while Undertone, a meticulously constructed slow-burn horror that leans on sound design and internet-culture themes, debuts June 26.
