Every new iOS 27 feature worth knowing

While Apple’s new Siri AI and Apple Intelligence announcements dominated the WWDC spotlight earlier this month, the company also packed iOS 27 with upgrades across everyday apps and services, from smarter bill splitting in Wallet to new location-sharing options in Find My and refreshed Apple Maps features.

Apple Maps' Flyover has been refreshed with more detailed visuals and smoother navigation, and a new Local Lists feature lets users discover and save trending recommendations for restaurants, attractions and other spots. Find My gains more flexible location-sharing controls: users can share for a custom amount of time—minutes, hours, days or until a specific date and time—or temporarily pause sharing with individual contacts until the end of the day, useful for situations like keeping a surprise party under wraps.
