Every AGT 21 Act That Auditioned in the Premiere: A Yes or an X? (RECAP)
Americas Got Talent returned for Season 21 with its full table of returning judges. Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel each pressed the Golden Buzzer, and host Terry Crews joined them, much to the frustration of Sofa Vergara, who would have hit the button several times.
Mel B stayed selective but praised the stronger performances. Aggy, a 42-year-old Nigeria native who lives in England and works as a software engineer, performed interpretive dance without music and left the judges baffled; Cowell invited him to try again with accompaniment, and a second, funnier attempt still failed to win a majority.
Fourteen-year-old Lai Noelle sang with a maturity that earned Cowells Golden Buzzer after Vergara nearly pressed it herself. Married knife-and-arrow duo Tyrone and Margo drew a yes for their impalement arts act, despite Margo having lost 70% vision in one eye after an on-stage knife accident.
