The 2025-26 European season ended with Paris Saint-Germain lifting the European Cup after a tight win over Arsenal in Budapest, completing a double after already securing Ligue 1. The victory was less emphatic than PSG's Munich thrashing of Inter 12 months earlier, but no less celebrated by the French club and their supporters.

Arsenal finally ended their wait for the Premier League title, while Bayern Munich, Inter and Barcelona also clinched domestic crowns. Aston Villa and Crystal Palace won the Europa League and Conference League respectively, preventing an all-English sweep of continental trophies.

Managers across the continent enjoyed standout campaigns, and FootballCo writers and editors from across Europe compiled a top-20 list to recognise the best. At the lower end of the list, Brentford's Keith Andrews guided the Bees to a ninth-placed Premier League finish despite major summer sales, narrowly missing European qualification on goal difference.
