Arc Raiders has been plagued by cheaters and game-breaking exploits, from wallhacks to glitches that spawn endless rubber duckies and equipment. Some players and high-profile streamers have sworn the game off after duping exploits—TheGamingMerchant recently put those exploits to the test and showed how bad it can be in high-end PvP.

Towards the end of May, Embark added Denuvo Anti-Cheat "initially to a limited player pool" after finding success in The Finals. In the 1.33 update notes, which also introduced the Forgotten Relics event and Converging Paths project, the studio confirmed it is expanding the anti-cheat further: "As part of our ongoing efforts against unfair play, we’re continuing to expand Denuvo Anti-Cheat to more players," the developers explain.

For what it's worth, I had to accept it when I downloaded the update today.
