Echo Dot Max discounted to $65 ahead of Prime Day end
Prime Day wraps up tomorrow, and Amazon has discounts on its devices of up to 65%. One notable deal cuts the Echo Dot Max by 35%, dropping the price to $65 from $100. The offer is limited to Prime members and applies to all colors, including Graphite, Amethyst, and Glacier White.
Don’t be fooled by its size: the Echo Dot Max delivers nearly three times the bass of the Echo Dot for a wider soundstage and clear vocals, and it supports streaming from services such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and SiriusXM. It includes built-in microphones for interacting with Alexa, a microphone-off button, and options to delete voice recordings in the Alexa app.
The speaker runs Alexa+, which aims for more natural conversations and better context handling; Prime members receive Alexa+ for free, while other users can upgrade for $20 a month. Even with the free Alexa experience you can create routines and control compatible smart home devices.
