EA launches 'EA Advertising' to place brands inside its games
Almost exactly two years ago EA CEO Andrew Wilson said the company was exploring ways to add more advertising to games: "We have teams internally in the company right now looking at how we do very thoughtful implementations inside of our game experiences." The publisher has now unveiled EA Advertising, described as "in-game integrations, creative partnerships, and scalable advertising capabilities," reaching more than 120 million players per month and initially rolling out in EA Sports FC and Madden NFL.
