Dorit Kemsley hopes estranged husband recalls the good times
Dorit Kemsley said she hopes her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, will remember the good times from their failed marriage after reading her new memoir, Unburdened. “I really hope that it’s gonna help remind him, really, of who him and I were, who we are, the love that we shared, the bond,” she said.
She said she wants him to let go of the resentment and anger between them so they can co-parent effectively. “Let go of the resentments, the anger, the hurt,” she said. “Really, at the end of the day, none of it matters. And there’s so much more good that can come from being able to be friends and effectively co–parent our children.” The couple share son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10.
PK has not shown interest in reading the memoir and has not congratulated her on its release, she added. “I’m sure there was a part of him that was a little nervous,” she mused. “However, you know, we’ll see.” Unburdened was released Tuesday; the pair split in May 2024 after nearly a decade of marriage.
