Donald Trump Jr. buys West Palm Beach lot for 8-bedroom home
A few weeks after their island wedding in the Bahamas, Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson bought a double lot in the Prospect Park neighborhood of West Palm Beach, Fla., and plan to build an eight-bedroom home for their family.
The house is expected to provide space for entertaining and for hosting political fund-raisers. West Palm Beach sits on the mainland and is often viewed as less exclusive than Palm Beach, the barrier island where his father owns the Mar-a-Lago club.
Don Jr. previously owned a property in Jupiter with former fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle that is now listed for $30 million; he had bought it for around $10 million.
Anderson, a native of Palm Beach who attended the Palm Beach Day School, married Don Jr. on a private island in the Bahamas on May 23 in a ceremony of roughly 40 people; the president did not attend. Representatives did not comment.
