Does Rue live or die in Euphoria Season 3 finale?

Warning: spoilers ahead. About halfway through the supersized 93-minute episode, Rue dies of a drug overdose after taking a bottle of pills from Alamo; she overdoses on fentanyl and Ali finds her unresponsive on his couch. The episode includes a long dreamlike sequence in which Rue returns to her childhood home and revisits memories, including archival footage of her standing in a field with Fez.

Jules appears briefly, crying as she finishes a painting of Rue, and Lexi later tells Cassie that Rue left behind her Bible. Lexi admits she has "a lot of guilt about how I left things" and says she learned from the Bible that "bad things happen, so why have anxiety about it?

No matter what, you have to just keep going," calling that the "point" of it. The timeline is unclear, though at least a month seems to pass before some of the aftermath is shown. Ali later puts on his old military uniform and goes after Alamo, fatally shooting him in a final standoff, then brings Rue to the homestead the family had impressed her.
