Doctor Doom Commander deck reprints $20 Black Market Connections

Wizards of the Coast revealed the full Doom Prevails decklist via The Asian Avenger YouTube channel. The Grixis (blue-black-red) Commander is a Villain-typal build that leans on sacrificing life for benefits, forcing discards, and connive; almost all of the 32 creature cards are new Marvel legendaries.

Alongside the flavor pieces, the preconstructed deck contains roughly $100 worth of valuable reprints. The headline reprint is Black Market Connections, valued at about $20. For three mana it lets you pay life at the beginning of your first main phase: one life to make a treasure, two life to draw a card, and three life to create a 3/2 changeling creature token—and you can do all three each turn, so paying six life yields all effects.

The deck also features art of Bullseye and 8‑Ball playing billiards while other villains hang out in a bar.
