The pocket camera packs a 1-inch CMOS sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and a 20mm-equivalent field of view, aimed at better low-light performance, more natural depth of field, and higher dynamic range than phone sensors.

It records 4K at 120fps and offers a 10-bit D-Log M color profile for more latitude in grading. For steady handheld footage, the Osmo Pocket 3 uses a 3-axis mechanical gimbal rather than electronic stabilization, and it includes ActiveTrack 6.0 to keep subjects centered during movement.
