Disney+ has greenlit Journey, a new animated fantasy series centered on a young woman named Journey. She lives in a city surrounded by energy shields that begin to fail, and ventures into "the forbidden lands beyond." The official logline adds: "In this new world, she uncovers the truth about her father's disappearance and discovers a powerful magic within herself that may hold the key to saving her people." The series is created by Matt Munn, whose credits include Ice Age: Collision Course and Spies in Disguise; he will executive-produce alongside Steve Loter, known for Kim Possible and Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast.
