Disclosure Day streaming and home release dates
Disclosure Day is Steven Spielberg’s first sci‑fi blockbuster since 2018’s Ready Player One, mixing the wonder of Close Encounters and E.T. with the chase-driven energy of the Indiana Jones films. Distributed by Universal Pictures, the film will probably head to VOD in August.
Universal’s recent pattern shows the Super Mario Galaxy Movie went digital on May 19 after an April 1 theatrical release, while Wicked: For Good hit VOD on Dec. 30 after opening Nov. 21. A physical release is likely in September, following Universal’s timetable: Wicked: For Good came to Blu‑ray/DVD on Jan.
20 and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie will be available on 4K UHD, DVD, and Blu‑ray on June 16. You’ll probably see a special feature‑packed physical version of Disclosure Day in September. Peacock should be the film’s first streaming home, with a later Netflix window under Universal’s licensing deal.
