Disappear Completely, directed by Luis Javier Henaine, is a psychological horror that holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and quietly landed on Netflix in April 2024 after premiering at Austin's Fantastic Fest in 2022. The film reached the streamer’s Top 10 in Mexico but has struggled to find a wider audience elsewhere.

The story follows Santiago (Harold Torres), a tabloid photojournalist who captures a disturbed, partly devoured politician on camera and becomes ensnared by the same demonic presence. Gradually losing all five senses, he races from doctors to shamans in search of a cure, while his pregnant girlfriend Marce (Tete Espinoza) contends with his pressure to end the pregnancy and the strain on their relationship.

Henaine deliberately avoids jump scares in favor of a realistic, immersive style that leans into folk horror, witchcraft and political undertones.
