Diego Kochen is set to leave Barcelona on loan this summer, with Danish side Lyngby Boldklub viewed as the favorites to sign the 20-year-old goalkeeper. The move would aim to provide him with the regular playing time needed for the next stage of his development.

Highly rated at Barcelona, Kochen spent last season rotating between the first team and the reserves. He did not appear in a competitive senior match but served as the club’s third goalkeeper behind Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szczesny, and was part of 40 matchday squads.

He featured in 20 games for Barca Athletic in the fourth tier and made one first-team appearance in a friendly against Club America in 2023. Barcelona is open to a loan to help him earn more minutes, and his contract runs through 2028. Kochen has been a regular for the United States at youth level, playing for the U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20 and U-23 teams.
