Destiny 2 players turn bosses into void-football-smacking porcupines

Players have revived a long-running Destiny tradition by pushing bosses to their deaths, this time by becoming porcupines holding a void-light "football". The setup is being used to farm the Pantheon raid gauntlet that returned in Destiny 2's final update. YouTuber InSaNeGaMeR300 explains the method: combine a crossbow with high Persistence so bolts stick longer, then use a Sentinel Titan's Ward of Dawn.

Ward of Dawn creates a dome of void light whose central orb you can pick up and reposition; any bolts lodged in that orb travel with you like a football, and hitting an enemy sends them flying. The trick echoes Destiny 1 players who pushed the Vault of Glass boss Templar into the void with pulse grenades, and the game counts the kills as legitimate, so people are exploiting it for loot.

Whether Bungie will allow players to keep yeeting some of the game's hardest bosses during the sunset of Destiny 2 is unclear, but for now Sentinels can enjoy free boss kills and potential god rolls.
