Denise Richards stands by her leather court look: 'I don't have a lot of suits'

Denise Richards is standing by her love of leather after wearing a black leather skirt to a February court date in LA. She posted a 'Get Ready With Me' video on Instagram showing her process before heading to face her estranged husband Aaron Phypers. The clip opens with Richards in a bathrobe, laughing, 'It's 4 o'clock in the morning … don't I look wonderful?' She says, 'Trying to figure out what to wear to court is very … not easy.' For the appearance she chose a slim black long-sleeve bodysuit, a black leather pencil skirt and black heeled mules.

Richards said glam and wardrobe matter on that day because 'the person I'm divorcing likes to make sure that the press is there,' but added, 'believe it or not, I don't have a lot of suits.' She defended the item as 'this little leather Gucci skirt' and 'a pencil skirt, so it's conservative.' Fans were supportive in the comments: 'Denise, you look absolutely stunning!
