A video showing a woman pouring the ingredients from a bag of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a tall glass spread across social feeds. Keith Fitzgerald shared the clip to BlueSky on June 15, and it quickly dominated timelines as people mocked its silliness. The clip was made by a creator who goes by Science Snitch, which posts on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok and describes itself as an investigative food and consumer product brand.

Her channel says it researches “what’s actually inside” everyday products. In practice she looks at the ingredients list on the back of a package, estimates amounts based on the order those ingredients appear, and pours those components into a tube that resembles a beaker while mugging at the camera.

Unless she somehow obtained an actual Cheeto recipe, which is not public, she is likely guessing how much of each ingredient goes into the snack. The videos are funny to watch, but they can push viewers toward stranger pseudoscientific paths that might lead to questioning vaccines or drinking raw milk.
