Paramount Skydance chief David Ellison is reshaping the company he took control of last year, merging Paramount and Skydance’s game operations into a single division called Paramount Games Studio. Paramount announced the new studio on Friday, combining Skydance’s two game studios with Paramount’s IP library.

Tony Driscoll, Paramount’s head of corporate strategy and development, will serve as president of Paramount Games Studio. Amy Henning, known for her work on Uncharted, was promoted to creative director and remains leading development on Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra and a previously announced Star Wars game; Variety confirmed both projects are still in development.

A trailer for the studio did not include footage of Rise of Hydra, which was delayed in 2025 with no new release date.
