Set photos from Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 show Finn Jones reprising Danny Rand alongside Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Luke’s daughter, Danielle. The Defenders reunion — and the fan reaction to it — suggests Marvel could revisit the idea of a spin-off centered on these characters.

Season 2 helped pave the way by bringing back Jessica Jones and featuring a cameo from Luke Cage, whose absence was explained as classified undercover work for the CIA at the behest of Mr. Charles. Charles eventually released Luke and replaced him on the mission with Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye, while the season also confirmed that Jessica and Luke rekindled their relationship, have a daughter named Danielle, and that Jessica has reopened Alias Investigations in Hell’s Kitchen.

In the comics, Heroes for Hire was a licensed small business run by Luke and Danny offering investigative and protective services, and a series along those lines could fill in several narrative gaps.
