Cyberpunk: Edgerunners season 2 trailer returns to Night City

The first trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners season 2 is here, packed with chrome, corpos and chaos. It promises adrenaline-fueled action: Roman films D. on a bloody rampage, with angst, tears and spine-ripping set pieces that will feel familiar to anyone who has walked Night City with V., David or Johnny Silverhand.

Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red return for the next anthology chapter after the 2022 anime, which followed the Sandevistan-infused protagonist David as he crashed through Night City in a war against corpos and other enemies. Edgerunners ended in tragedy for most of its cast, but writer Bartosz Sztybor revealed there was an alternate ending in which David doesn't die entirely: 'Arasaka gets him, and he ends up fighting in Africa or South America in corporate wars as a robot.' The second season has been unveiling its cast in drips, beginning with Roman Carax at Annecy.
