Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 confirmed for fall 2026

Netflix, Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red have confirmed that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will arrive this fall. The sequel was first announced at Anime Expo last year, and the series' official accounts began teasing it again; on the morning of June 28 the Edgerunners account posted the full key art and confirmed a fall 2026 release window.

Few characters from the original made it out alive, so the new season follows a fresh cast introduced over the past week: a vengeful Snake Nation Netrunner D, a young cinephile and documentarian named Roman Carax, Maelstrom gang member Taila Yang, and an Edgerunner called Weak Kingsley.

The cast will have a high bar to clear after Lucy and David.
