Folio Society posted another look at a limited edition leatherbound version of Martin's first Game of Thrones book on Instagram, set to release on July 14 for the novel's 30th anniversary. The caption concluded, "But one secret remains, Keep your eyes on the skies… another message is on its way," a line that prompted fans to wonder if Winds of Winter news might be imminent.

Fans reacted on social media, with one tweeting, "Really trying not to go completely delusional over that last part," and adding, "Maybe Winds, maybe something else. We will have to see." Another wrote, "Announce in the summer. Release in the winter. I saw it in the flames." Others expressed skepticism that Martin would announce the book's completion in this way.
