Critical Role has considered a Marvel-style What If...? series

Critical Role co‑founders Travis Willingham and Laura Bailey say they have talked about creating a Marvel-style What If...? project as part of the many ideas they have to expand Exandria. Willingham has noted the company’s ventures include animated adaptations, video games and books.
