Crimson Desert patch raises pet cap to 100 and adds more chainsaw access
A new patch for Crimson Desert raises the number of pets players can register to 100, up from 30, unlocked via reward items for the existing pet challenge.
Players can summon up to 50 pets at camp at once. The update also includes a variety of small changes, such as improvements to the pinball minigame and a dedicated map icon for baby wyverns.
Two non-Kliff playable characters, Damiane and Oongka, can now equip the mining drill and the chainsaw, expanding their available tools.
Taken together, these tweaks push further into the game’s collectible, animal-focused side—from baby wyverns to riding a grizzly—continuing a pattern of light, character and content expansions.
