Creed trilogy arrives on Netflix in U.S. on June 1
Beginning June 1st, Netflix in the United States will stream all three Creed films together for the first time, bringing the saga of Adonis Creed to the service. Creed launched in theaters in 2015 and spawned two sequels, with Michael B. Jordan taking over directing duties on the third film.
The franchise was created under MGM and now falls under the Amazon MGM umbrella, so the Rocky legacy sequels have often lived on Prime Video. Hosting the full Creed trilogy on Netflix represents a significant addition to the streamer’s lineup for drama and sports-film viewers.
Netflix’s June newsletter also indicated that most Rocky films would arrive on June 1st, with five of the six titles listed and Rocky II notably missing from the list; that omission may be a mistake until the lineup appears on the service.
Other additions in June include the original Karate Kid trilogy, the 2010 remake, and Miracle, making the month especially strong for fans of sports and fighting movies.
