Corsair has launched 'Wood' and 'Elite Wood' front panels for its Frame line at Computex 2026, and the Frame 5000D is now available with a wooden front. The 5000D is essentially a larger 4000D with a semi‑modular design, so parts like the front panel can be swapped out quickly; owners of a non‑wood 5000D should be able to swap it in seconds.

Both wood panels include holes for airflow, and Corsair designed them to let "your PC more easily blend in with your office or gaming den’s décor." One is a straightforward vertical wood panel; the other uses a ripple effect with a large Corsair logo at the centre and concentric ripples, an engineering flourish the author says they're still deciding on.

Corsair has shown other unusual case ideas at Computex before, from a modular DAC/amp prototype to the recent Warthog, a military‑themed PC with fighter‑jet controls. Compared with those showpieces the wood panels are relatively restrained.
