Corey Feldman diagnosed with food poisoning after in-flight emergency
Corey Feldman fell ill on a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday and was met by paramedics at the gate before being taken to hospital.
After spending the night and undergoing tests to check for pancreatitis or gallstones, his representative said the problem was food poisoning.
A fellow passenger who is a doctor checked Feldman on the flight. His rep said he is doing much better, is out of the hospital and is thankful for the well wishes he has received.
Feldman had been in Chicago to attend an anniversary celebration for the 1986 film Stand By Me with co-stars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton. He is releasing a new single, “What Am I Here 4,” on June 22 and will mark his birthday with two performances in California the weekend of July 25. He had shared posts about traveling to Chicago and visited Michael Jackson’s childhood home to “pay respects,” and competed on Dancing With the Stars last fall.
