Coram AI has raised $35 million in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to $66 million. The investment was co-led by Ansa Capital and Battery Ventures, with participation from UP.Partners, 8VC, and Mosaic Ventures; the company declined to share its valuation.

Founded in 2022, Coram connects existing cameras, badge readers, visitor logs, and emergency systems, and uses AI to help security teams find incidents and respond faster. Co‑founders Ashesh Jain and Peter Ondruska previously led autonomy and AI research at Lyft and at companies acquired by Toyota and Zoox, and they say that experience shaped the startup’s focus.

Venture investment in global robotics and physical AI has expanded sharply in recent years, growing from about $4 billion in 2019 to $26 billion in 2025, and topping $23 billion so far this year, according to PitchBook data. Coram enters a crowded market that includes players such as Motorola Solutions’ Avigilon and Eagle Eye Networks, and follows high‑profile incidents like Verkada’s 2021 camera breach.
