A new report has dismissed transfer rumours linking Borussia Dortmund full-back Yan Couto with interest from Serie A side Como 1907. Bild says Como have expressed preliminary interest but have held no direct talks with the player or Dortmund.

Dortmund are holding out for a fee of €20–25 million to avoid a loss, and Couto is under contract until 2030 on wages of roughly €5 million per year. The club’s decision could hinge on the right-back situation: Julian Ryerson is said to be on Manchester United’s radar, and a Ryerson departure would likely remove the need to sell Couto.

Elsewhere, Dortmund suffered a setback when 18-year-old Zadok Yohanna opted for Brighton & Hove Albion over BVB, signing a long-term deal until 2031. The Athletic values the fee at almost €25 million while Sky places it at €28 million plus €2 million in add-ons; Yohanna scored five goals and supplied four assists in 18 matches after moving to Sweden in summer 2025, and had been monitored by RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen.
