Cole Palmer has posted glimpses of his life away from the pitch after being left out of England's squad for the 2026 World Cup. The Chelsea playmaker, 24, had been a go-to star for the Three Lions over the last year and is using the summer to recharge following a demanding domestic campaign.

Thomas Tuchel opted for other creative options, and after a season in which Palmer scored 11 Premier League goals, a dip in consistency and minor injury concerns seemingly cost him backing. Rather than joining the squad in Florida, Palmer travelled to Ibiza, returning to a familiar sanctuary and was spotted relaxing with Wayne Lineker.

He shared nine photos on Instagram showing beach days, professional photoshoots and promotion for his COLE'D brand, a marked contrast with the Three Lions completing double sessions in 32-degree Miami heat. The post, which included a picture of Palmer on a bright yellow sofa and the caption 'could be worse', prompted debate among followers.
